Dubai: Saudi Arabia is set to host the first international edition of the International AI Olympiad (IAIO) in Riyadh from September 8 to 12, 2024.

Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) to organize the event for AI featuring participants from around the globe. As of now, educational institutes from over 25 different countries are ready to participate in the event.

This Olympial is being held under UNESCO in collaboration with International Center for Artificial Intelligence Research and Ethics (ICAIRE) and the International Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (IRCAI)

IAIO is aimed to bring scientists and AI enthusiasts together to exchange ideas, explore AI advancements and further nurture their capabilities in the field of AI.

SDAIA has already started conducting virtual lecture to students about AI to prepare teams to participate in the Olympiad.

What is IAIO?

The IAIO is designed to discover and nurture young talent in the field of Artificial Intelligence, with a focus on high school students globally. This international competition offers a dynamic platform for students to demonstrate their skills in AI disciplines including Computer Vision, Robotics, Machine Learning, Neural Networks/Deep Learning, and Natural Language Processing.
